Ellen McKenna, Principal and Design Director of the company, has a background in fine arts and architectural & interior design. Her professional life has encompassed all aspects of design for the interior and exterior. She brings a unique integrated aesthetic to each project delivering a design that is individually tailored for each client.
Ellen earned her BFA Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art. During her architectural studies at the Boston Architectural Center she was awarded the BAC Presidents Award (1986) for best portfolio. She also pursued her professional education at Harvard University’s summer program in architecture. She studied interior design at both the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of California Berkley.
She has held various design positions, most recently Architectural & Interior Designer for Mary Meagher Design in Rhode Island. She was Interior Designer for Aspen Domain, Aspen, CO, Architectural Designer for AJ Boemer & Associates, Architects in Boston; and architectural model maker & designer in Massachusetts and California.
Ellen works with a staff of professionals skilled in all facets of architecture and interior design. |
